Sadie Jane

Sadie Jane

Sadie Jane Reppucci is the owner and founder of Sadie Jane Dance in Brunswick, Maine, which opened its doors in May 2025. Her dance journey began at Dance Infusion Studio in Andover, Massachusetts, where she joined their teacher assistant training program at the age of 12. By 17, she was already teaching full-time classes—before even graduating high school.

Over the years, Sadie Jane has taught a variety of styles, including jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, and now heels, or as we like to call it, Stilettos. She has also worked on assistant choreography for local musicals, managed rehearsals, and performed on stage herself. Before starting her studio, she spent time performing at festivals and leading her own stilettos dance team.

When Sadie Jane first moved to Maine, she found it challenging to connect with a local dance community that felt like home. That changed in March 2025, when she decided to host her first stilettos pop-up class. The response was overwhelming—33 dancers showed up, the energy was electric, and it sparked the vision that would become Sadie Jane Dance.

Candida Poore

Candida Poore

Dance has always been a vital part of my life, starting with my days as a cheerleader in high school, where the thrill of movement and rhythm first ignited my passion. As I grew older, the world of dance was calling me, discovering its transformative power not just for myself but for those around me. Without formal training, I found immense joy in uplifting others through movement. Each step and every beat serve as a reminder of the strength and beauty we can cultivate together on the dance floor.

Robin Berntsen

Robin Berntsen

At age 17, Robin discovered Egyptian belly dancing (Raqs Sharqi) and immediately fell in love. Originally using dance as a respite from a cross-country move, she was enchanted by the amount of confidence and pure joy the dance brought her. Since returning to Maine in 2015, her education has brought a deeper understanding of rhythms, history, and customs in Raqs Sharqi-which she continues to learn and strives to share with her students. In her classes you can expect an emphasis on learning foundational moves in an encouraging environment, and leaning into the simple joy of dancing in community. Robin’s background also involves teaching yoga, and studying nervous system regulation through movement. When she’s not shimmying, you can find her canoe-camping all over Maine, trying to be an amateur birder, reading romance, and most likely laughing at her own jokes.
